Residual Heat Reuse
Reuse steam heat in the process to save electricity use
- Precursor w/ and w/o lithium source has passed customer evaluation.
- The process and equipment are independently developed and designed. Currently, the pyrolysis equipment and acid recovery equipment have achieved a maximum capacity of 20 kg/h. The system has been operating continuously for over a week with stable performance, and the acid recovery rate exceeds 90%.
- The waste heat from pyrolysis is converted into high-pressure steam (0.8 MPa) to enhance energy efficiency.
- The system supports multiple feedstocks (e.g., MHP, cathode scrap, battery black mass) without conventional precursor synthesis. Impurities are removed directly, followed by lithium salt supplementation to produce lithium-bearing precursors.
- The same system can recycle LFP batteries, achieving closed-loop recovery of lithium, phosphorus, and iron in a streamlined process. Pilot samples are projected for Q3 2025.
